A very important message for you

How to be sure to go to Heaven

The Bible clearly presents two destinations for a person once they die, Heaven or Hell. Are you unsure of where you will spend eternity? You do not need to be. You can be absolutely sure that you are bound for eternity in Heaven in the presence of the Lord. The steps are easy to understand.

    I. Admit that you are a sinner and incapable of saving yourself..

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9
II. Believe that Christ was sent to take the punishment for your sins; that He died for you.
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
Romans 5:6

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
III. Call on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, and receive Him as your Saviour.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
If you have done that, you can be absolutely sure that the penalty of death that you deserve for your sins has been paid by your personal Savior, Jesus Christ. You now have the free gift of eternal life.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

We encourage you to tell others of your decision, to join a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching local church (like FBC!), and to be faithful in the daily reading and study of God's Word.
